The Reinvigoration of Bangsawan: Panggung Bandaraya, Kuala Lumpur This showcase of Malaysia's aristocratic heritage by groups from across the country is held every second week of every month at the Panggung Bandaraya to rekindle the flames of traditional court and theatre performances through activities that include historical exhibits of Malaysian nobility, personalities as well as aristocratic theatre costumes.

Its multi-tiered competition is expected to garner in excess of 500 participants for this year's festival.

Cherating International Surfing Competition Since making its entrance in the national tourism calendar back in 2007, this surfing competition has never ceased to draw the crowds from all over. It is set against the horizon of the ever-enchanting Cherating beach and towering waves that are seasonal towards year end/beginning. Competition categories include children and masters-level while surfing clinics are also organised by professional surfing clubs. A tri-state circuit of the competition is also on the pipeline for the Malaysian states of Terengganu, Pahang and Johor.

Held for the first time in 2009, this annual international fresh water fishing competition takes place at the idyllic Kenyir Lake which also serves to promote it as a premier regional tourist destination. Here, anglers get to experience and learn the various types of fish species that populate this lake. Competition rules are based on the "Catch and Release" method with judging based on fish species, length and weight.

Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge 2014 (LIMBC 2014) & UCI MTB Marathon Series Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge, or LIMBC, is Asia's most promising and exciting mountain bike stage race. It attracts every level of rider across all ages from 19- 60 year olds. The LIMBC mixes the Top UCI MTB World Cup contenders and regular and ever enthusiastic International and local ‘Weekend Warrior' travelling from the world over and our Asian neighbours for the best race and adventure.

The LIMBC course offers participants a chance to experience Langkawi at its best - a showcase of natural landmarks. This years' LIMBC –our 5th edition, features six stages around-the-island and a few extra challenges and changesbut remains competitive. Sarawak Regatta: Tebingan Kuching The Sarawak Regatta is a popular traditional longboats race in Kuching. The longboats are decorated with colourful designs and can accomodate from a few and up to 30 paddlers on the boat. The significant of regattas in Sarawak goes back to the Brooke era. It started with the intention to stop racial wars among local tribes where headhunting was largely practiced. The Brooke has instructed all tribes to instead challenge each other by having boat races to prove their power and strength. The call to challenge each other through the boat race rather than headhunting was successful in bringing peace to the area. Today, longboat races or regattas are some of the major tourism events in Sarawak. The Sarawak Regatta, held at the Kuching Waterfront, has become one of the most sought after events in the tourism calendar. Due to the significant history of the regatta, this event is normally held in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.

Port Dickson International Triathlon: Port Dickson Marking its 11th year, this state-sponsored event has seen a steady rise in its popularity, growing from 280 participants (from 7 countries) in 2002 to 1,450 athletes from 34 countries taking part in 2011. The event in its 16th year will showcase Sarawak's efforts in conservation and preservation of the rainforest through world music. Aside from drawing foreign tourists to Sarawak, it highlights the cultures, nature and adventures that are unique to Sarawak. In 2012, 22,290 visitors visited the event with 20% coming from Australia, USA, UK, Singapore, India, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Canada, Norway, ASEAN, France and Japan.

Kuantan Century Ride a.k.a Kuantan 160 The east coast's largest cycing competition, introduced in 2012, traverses numerous interesting and famous touristic hotspots around the city of Kuantan and covers a 160km trail. Southeast Asia Climbing Federation Malaysia Circuit 2014: KLCC Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Mountaineering Federation (Persekutuan Mendaki Malaysia) will host the 2nd series of Southeast Asia Climbing Federation Malaysia Circuit in conjunction with Sports, Competition Outdoor, Recreational Expo "SCORE" 2014 at KLCC Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. SCORE 2014 aims to promote climbing or mountaineering as more than just an exciting adventure for the public but also to take it to a higher level as a competitive sport. The aim of SEACF is to continue its streak of competition from the previous year and to determine the ranking of athletes in Southeast Asia as well as to select athletes to represent Malaysia for the upcoming SEA Games Singapore 2015. Tidal Bore Carnival: Tebingan Sungai Batang Lupar, Sri Aman "Benak", a local Sarawakian term for the natural occurance of tidal bore is celebrated in a festival-like atmosphere here in Batang Lupar and is one of only 50 such natural phenomenon in the world. Placed 4th on the list of the world's "Top 10 Tidal Bores", the Batang Lupar tidal bore in Sri Aman occurs monthly with each massive high-tide known as "King Tide".

Kenyir Fest 2014: Pengkalan Gawi, Tasik Kenyir Kenyir Fest promotes Kenyir Lake, the biggest man-made lake in Southeast Asia. Kaul Festival: Kaul Festival Square, Mukah Kaul is the traditional festival that is celebrated by the Melanau community. It is a spiritual celebration to appease the spirit of the sea after the end of each fishing session. This festival showcases all the traditional practices of the Melanau which include the traditional games of "Tibau", displays of "Serahang" and authentic Melanau food and cuisine. The most spectacular element shown during this festival is the ritual ceremony done in the sea by the shaman to appease the sea spirit. INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON AUTISM 2014: Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) There is still lack of awareness and understanding about autism especially among parents and the young generation. However, this can change if we engage in dialogues and activities on autism.

Themed "Autism Is Not A Tragedy, Ignorance Is", the International Seminar on Autism 2014 will bring together teachers, lecturers, researchers, professionals, government officials, service providers, NGOs, parents and communities in the area of autism to discuss and deliberate on the latest updates and best practices in relation to autism.

The Seminar will be a platform for discussion on topics such as Epidemiology of Autism, State of Autism – Updates on the latest in autism science and early detection, DSM-V and effect on diagnosis and intervention and State of art-early intervention strategies in autism which will be delivered and articulated in four Plenary Sessions and a few Special Parallel Sessions.

The Seminar will also see the participation of renowned international and local experts in autism such as Eric Fombonne, MD of McGill University, Dr. Andy Shih, Vice President of Scientific Affairs, Autism Speaks and Prof. Dr. Connie Kasari from University of California, LA.

Among the local speakers are Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd Saat Baki, Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL), Assoc.
